Current Status

CloudGate Universe is currently up and running.

 

History

Saturday, 2021-december-13  We took the precaution of disabling Search functionality on CloudGate Universe in response to CVE-2021-44228 (https://cve.mitre.org/cgi-bin/cvename.cgi?name=CVE-2021-44228). After taking the nescessary precautions the search functionallity is back online.

 

Monday, 2020-may-18 (00:00hrs UTC)  - Monday, 2020-may-18 (9:30hrs UTC) 

CloudGate Universe Provisioning Server was temporarily inaccessible due to an expired certificate. Users could have seen that their devices weren't able to check in for a while.

We've updated the certificate. All systems are online and working again. No data was lost.

 

Tuesday, 2019-jul-23 (10:00hrs UTC)  - Wednesday, 2019-jul-24 (17:00hrs UTC) 

CloudGate Universe experienced an issue with an unresponding API. This issue caused some devices to show as 'failed to check in' while they where actually checking in. A fix has been implemented and the normal status will show correct again upon the next check-in.

We've implemented a fix for a recently publicized security vulnerability in Drupal versions 7 or 8 (CVE-2019-6338/SA-CORE-2019-001 and CVE-2019-6339/SA-CORE-2019-002 ). All systems are online and working.

We've implemented a fix for a recently publicized security vulnerability in Drupal versions 6, 7 or 8 (CVE-2018-7602/SA-CORE-2018-004). All systems are online and working.

We've implemented a fix for a recently publicized security vulnerability in Drupal versions 6, 7 or 8 (CVE-2018-7600). All systems are online and working.

 

 

Wednesday, 2017-sept-6 (11:30hrs UTC)  - Wednesday, 2017-sept-6 (14:00hrs UTC)

CloudGate devices that checked in between Wednesday, 2017-sept-6 (11:30hrs UTC)  - Wednesday, 2017-sept-6 (14:00hrs UTC) appeared to be offline due to a scheduled maintenance. All user invoked changes were stored on CGU nevertheless and no data was lost.

In the course of the following days, when all devices have checked in again, the devices status will be updated accordingly.

CloudGate Universe was temporarily offline (less then one minute) due to scheduled maintenance. Users could have seen a 'connection refused' message on their browser.

We've implemented a fix for a recently publicized security vulnerability in the Linux kernel (Dirty COW). All systems are online and working again.

CloudGate Universe was temporarily offline due to unscheduled maintenance. All systems are online and working again.

 

 

Friday, 2016-sept-9 (13hrs UTC)  - Friday, 2016-sept-9 (19:08hrs UTC)

CloudGate devices that checked in between Friday, 2016-sept-9 (13hrs UTC)  and (19:08hrs UTC) appeared to be offline due to a problem between CloudGate Universe back- and front-end communication. All user invoked changes were stored on CGU nevertheless and no data was lost.

In the course of the following days, when all devices have checked in again, the devices status will be updated accordingly.

 

 

Wednesday, 2016-june-08 (14hrs UTC)  - Thursday, 2016-june-09 (12hrs UTC)

Some CloudGate devices could not receive updates from CloudGate Universe. The next time these CloudGate devices check in, the changes will be pushed.

Took steps to patch a recently discovered vulnerability in the GNU C Library (CVE-2015-7547).
